FORTIZO Health Policy fundamental target is that all work place injuries and cases of occupational ill-health are preventable and that good health is good business. FORTIZO shall ensure that its activities shall affect the health of employees, contractors, clients and the general public.

To this effect, FORTIZO Health Policy objective include:

  • Ensure that employees are fit for work, disability, is prevented and loss of working time due to injury or illness is minimal
  • Identify all health hazards at workplace and communicate details to employees where appropriate
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle culture for all employees

FORTIZO Objectives shall achieve these objectives by:

  • Ensuring safety and absence of risks to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of products
  • Carry out medical examination deemed necessary on all employees and ensure confidentiality of the outcome
  • Ensure health and hygiene standards are complied with at all times and not compromised
  • Provide information, training, and supervision as is necessary to promote the health of employees
  • Ensure exposure to hazardous substances and environment are minimized and adequate protective equipment provided & used
  • Conduct timely and thorough reporting and investigating of incidents/accidents to ensure a healthy and safe environment

The authorized officer by the MD shall ensure proper implementation of this Policy.
This Policy shall be communicated to all Employees, Contractors, Client, Client and other stakeholders and compliance with Policy content is mandatory.
