Transport Policy

FORTIZO ENERGY is committed to the safe movement of petroleum products, equipment, and personnel within Nigeria. Trips made by drivers shall be approved as detailed in the Company’s established journey management plan.

FORTIZO Transport Policy shall:

  • Ensure all vehicles and trucks are of suitable standard and in good working condition in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedule
  • All drivers shall be shall be certified medically fit to operate vehicle and trucks assigned
  • All truck drivers must at all times while on a trip clothed in their appropriate and complete personal protective equipment
  • All drivers shall be in possession of valid licenses required under Nigerian Law to operate vehicles and trucks assigned
  • All drivers shall practice defensive driving at all times and be alert to potential accident causing situations
  • Anyone operating vehicles and trucks shall obey all traffic and road safety regulations and not operate under the influence of intoxicating beverages or drugs
  • To this effect,
  • All passengers and motor-boys are required to follow the instructions of the driver who shall be in complete charge of the vehicles and trucks respectively
  • Drivers have authority to refuse passage to anyone who in their opinion is considered to be unsafe or under the influence of drugs or alcohol

The authorized officer by the MD shall ensure proper implementation of this Policy.

This Policy shall be communicated to all Employees, Contractors, Client, Client and other stakeholders and compliance with Policy content ar mandatory.
